MEMBERSHIP PATHWAYS
Three ways to join
Home owners that live on a property with deeded rights are considered an Owner Member. Associate Membership extends the community to people who want to be a part of it without owning a deeded property. Owner Members who do not reside in their property full time may activate a Tenant Membership for an individual or family that is renting the home on a short or long-term basis.
Owner Members & Tenant Members
Owner Membership is tied to specific properties with deeded Pinewood Lake Association rights. Renting your home? Short or long term renters may also be eligible for tenant membership.
Associate Members
Associate Membership is open to anyone, anywhere, who wants to be part of the Pinewood Lake Association community.
WHY MEMBERSHIP MATTERS
What your dues fund
The Association is funded primarily by member dues. There is no town funding, no developer, no outside support. Strong membership is what keeps the lake healthy, the beach safe, the canteen open, and the next 80 years on solid ground.
Lake stewardship
Water quality monitoring, weed and invasive species management, dam upkeep, shoreline care are all a part of the work that keeps Pinewood Lake healthy.
Shared spaces
The canteen, clubhouse, and access parcels around the lake. Maintenance by us, for us.
Year-round community
Events that have run for decades and the everyday connection that makes a neighborhood a community.
The long view
Eighty years of continuous stewardship. Strong membership keeps the lake healthy and the facilities in good shape for the next eighty.

A NOTE ON DUES
Why the structure is the way it is
Insert more text to explain the difference....
Membership dues are set annually following approval of the Association’s operating budget by the membership. Members then receive an invoice outlining the annual dues amount, payment instructions, and applicable deadlines.
