Your deed gave you the rights. Membership makes them yours.

Welcome to Pinewood Lake — a neighborhood defined not only by its beautiful lake and shared spaces, but by a strong tradition of neighbors working together to protect and enhance the community we all enjoy.

The Pinewood Lake Association is a member-driven organization dedicated to cooperation, stewardship, and community connection. If you are new to the neighborhood — or considering membership — we’re glad you’re here.

Owner Members & Tenant Members

Owner Membership is tied to specific properties with deeded Pinewood Lake Association rights. Renting your home? Short or long term renters may also be eligible for tenant membership.

WHAT THIS IS

Owner Membership

Owner Membership is for people who own a Pinewood lake home with deeded Association rights. Those rights came with the property, but they don't automatically make you a member. Joining the Associaiton is what activates them.

As an Owner Member, you vote on Association matters, are eligible to serve on the Board, pay the lower dues rate, and receive all other benefits that come with membership (see below).

WHY MEMBERSHIP MATTERS

What your membership protects

The Pinewood Lake Association is a member-driven organization dedicated to cooperation, stewardship, and the long-term protection of our neighborhood. Our shared efforts support:

These are not abstract goals. They directly affect the quality, value, and enjoyment of living in Pinewood Lake.

We understand that the annual dues can feel like a significant expense and many homeowners are weighing costs carefully right now. We want you to know that membership is not just about dues — it’s about investment, an investment in property values, in community spaces, in safety, in social connection, and in the long-term health of our neighborhood.

A strong association benefits everyone:

  • Well-maintained shared spaces protect home values

  • Community programming builds connection and belonging

  • Collective stewardship protects Pinewood Lake for future generations

  • A unified voice gives our neighborhood strength and influence

When membership declines, these shared benefits become harder to sustain. When participation grows, everyone gains.
