BEACH RENTALS
The PLA is situated on over 60 acres of land which includes a private beach and an historic clubhouse. Both are available for use by members for private functions.
To rent one of the available spaces at Pinewood Lake, you must be a PLA Member in good standing.
Please note that the PLA is not responsible for lost or damaged property. Members and guests are responsible for the safety and security of their belongings at all times.
PLA Beach Party Rentals
If you would like to host a beach party at Pinewood Lake, please contact rentalspla@gmail.com for rental calendar availability. Once your party is booked on the calendar, you will submit a Beach Agreement (In Season -OR- Out of Season) with your payment. The Beach Agreement and payment must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the event by regular mail to or you may place in mailbox on West Lake Rd (just outside Pinewood parking lot on left) in an envelope addressed to Beach Committee, or personally drop off to Beach Registrar at the check in desk.

Beach Party Guidelines

Choose a Beach Location … Grass Area (under trees) -OR- Sand Area (rear of beach) for 15-30 guests

Follow the Beach Rules as listed in the Member Directory and on pinewood-lake.org

Bring a guest list to the Registrar (or include with signed agreement now) one day before the party which includes: first and last name, address and telephone number of all party guests

If the number of guests in the party increases, you must notify the Beach Director at least three days in advance

Member must be present during the beach party rental for the entire duration of the rental.

Guests must wear designated “party” wrist bands; provided by the Registrar on the day of the party or by the Beach Committee (prior to the event). They will serve as identification for the beach party.

The Beach Director will have necessary lifeguard coverage on the day of your event. If you have any special requests regarding lifeguard coverage, contact the Beach Director directly at PLABeachStaff@gmail.com.
— Your party area includes 2 picnic tables and will take place during regular PLA operating hours. Some of your guests may not be familiar with PLA and; as host, it is your responsibility to convey our rules / guidelines / policies to them while on our premises. Other members and guests alike will be in the vicinity during your party, so please be mindful of others and the shared space.
— Please remove any party décor and trash from the party area and return the premises to its original state. As always, no glass is permitted on the PLA grounds as it is a safety hazard.
